Community & Future Initiatives

Community support, educational access, advocacy, and long-term investment in people and opportunity have always been central to The Neuro Care Bridge. This space highlights community initiatives and projects focused on supporting growth, exploration, education, and meaningful access to opportunity.

The Ward-Collier Passport Forward Scholarship

The Ward-Collier Passport Forward Scholarship was created by

Gabrielle Ward-Collier and Myles Collier, residents of the St. Johns, Michigan community with a passion for exploration, travel, language, and cultural learning. This scholarship was established to help support students at St. Johns High School pursuing travel and cultural learning opportunities who may need financial assistance in order to participate. Financial circumstances should not prevent students with the passion and dedication to learning a new language, experiencing other cultures, and exploring the world from having the opportunity to travel.

Travel and cultural experiences can have a lasting impact on a student’s confidence, worldview, and future opportunities. This scholarship exists to help make those experiences more accessible and to encourage students to continue pursuing language, culture, and global learning beyond the classroom.

Students applying may be asked to briefly share why this opportunity is meaningful to them and how financial support would help make participation possible. If selected as a scholarship recipient, we would also love to include your first name and last initial as part of the scholarship “passport” to celebrate the students and journeys this opportunity has helped support over time.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
— Nelson Mandela

Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Created in 2026 to support student access to travel and cultural learning opportunities.
